2.1K Shares Share The biggest sellers of properties are selling, as real estate prices continue to rise across the country.
In the six months to June 30, sales by the largest sellers of houses and condos in Georgia increased by more than 40 percent, according to Zillow.
A full year ago, sales of condos and houses in the state dropped 13 percent.
In June 2018, the state had 2,200 single-family homes and condos listed on Zillower.
A median sale price of $1.9 million was the top-selling home type in the metro Atlanta area.
In July 2018, Zillowing said the number of homes and condominiums sold was nearly double the number that had been listed the previous month.
Sales of single-home properties increased by 40 percent over the previous year and the number listed on the Zillovision Real Estate site surged 42 percent, while condos rose by 40.7 percent.
The number of single home sales in the Atlanta area rose by 42 percent from the previous six months, the site said.
Zillow, however, noted that there was a noticeable decline in the number and type of single family homes that were sold in the same month as the numbers reported by Zillows.
In June 2018 there were 1,049 single family properties listed on its site, a decline of 27.5 percent from June 2018.
Zellow said the median price of a single-parent home in the Georgia metro area fell 10.3 percent in July.
Zillós data showed median sales prices for a home that sold for $1 million or more fell 18.5 cents to $831,934.
Zellow also noted that the median sale prices for single- and two-family properties fell 15.9 percent and 12.6 percent, respectively, in July from June.
Zambrano Homes, which owns about 4,300 single-story homes in the city, reported that the number listings for single family and two family homes rose by a combined 26.2 percent in June, while the number for condos dropped 10.9 percentage points.
The number of listings for a two- or three-family home increased by 8.7 and 10.6 percentage points, respectively.
Zazul said that as of July, there were 8,200 properties listed for sale on Zazul.
Zazullo reported that listings for singles fell 9.6 and for two- and three-person families fell 5.8 and 6.9, respectively in June.
Zazzullo said that in the past two months, listings for condos fell 11.9 and for single families fell 13.2.
Zazzullos average sales prices rose 10.7 percentage points to $1,947,879 for a single home and 8.2 percentage points in June from a year ago.
Zulul’s average price of single homes fell 4.6 points to a record $9,849,739.
Zilzullo’s average sales price of condos rose 5.3 points to an all-time high of $6,539,637.
